Overview:

Telecommunication is the branch of electrical engineering concerned with the technology of electronic communication at a distance. A telecommunications engineer studies, designs, tests, and builds telecommunications equipment (such as cell phone and Internet-related hardware) for communication systems. Telecommunication engineer are also known as fibre optics transmission engineer, communications engineer, information engineer.
